The Review of Dell Streak Handphone

When most phone and computer manufactures planning to release new version of a tablet computer, Dell become the first one to showcase its tablets or Smartphone hybrid devices, the streak. Dell Streak integrates phone and tablet functions into a simple and attractive devices. This streak is both lightweight and so Compaq that it can be put in our pocket so easily. Even though the screen is made of durable gorilla glass material which is scratch resistant, but the build quality is rock solid and the housing is made of metal. Once we try to scratch with sharp object but the glass screen survive and we did not find any damage at all.

This streak is bright and sharp. The 5in display has an impressive of 800×480 pixel resolution which has a lot of space to display text and apps. Streak uses a QWERTY keyboard which has a number pad, this number pad makes entering date and passwords easier. As a phone actually streak is a little cumbersome to use as it is much bigger than most phone we find. Above all, the quality is fine but the tiny earpiece makes it hard to align someone’s ear to hear call clearly. Hopefully the speakerphone would be a little louder. On messaging there has been no problem since this hand phone has large virtual keyboard and predictive text made it easy to type it accurately.

Streak has a speedy of 1 GHz snapdragon processor and 512MB RAM. Browsing on the streak gives us a pleasant experience since it able to render full webpage relatively fast although the graphic intensive sites tend to load a little slower. The streaks battery performance is surprisingly good for a device with a 5in touch screen, we are able to use it for an entire day such as surfing the web, making phone calls, checking e-mail and such before we need to recharge it. Well, hopefully in next Dell version it will have the new OS.
